Here is an interesting “law”. Heard people referring to it now and then and never really knew what it meant until my curiosity got me.
According to Wikipedia it goes as follows:I an Internet adage asserting that “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches”, that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism.
But one could argue that this could be said about any kind of comparison if the conversation goes on long enough. Infinite probability and all that. Obviously something that more people know of has a higher probability of popping up in a conversation.
