Ever heard about Godwin’s Law?

In an internet adage, asserting that “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazism or Hitler approaches”. In other words meaning that if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something in the conversation to Hitler or Nazism.

However I feel that one could argue that it could be said about any kind of comparison if the conversation goes on long enough. Infinite probability and all that. Obviously as Hitler and Nazism is a subject that more people know about it has a higher probability of popping up in a conversation.
