Finland catches up to its Nordic neighbors.

The Finnish Parliament today voted 105—92 in favor of a citizens’ initiative to extend marriage rights to same-sex couples. Two Members of the Parliament were absent from the vote.

To be honest this was a long time coming and really kind of surprising that it did not happen earlier seeing that many Finns have been advocating for this for quite some time.

Congratulations! Now lets move on from this and solve other issues which should not be as obvious as this one.
