I’m very much into producing music and have been looking into starting mixing some tracks into longer sets. I’m using Propellerhead Reason software (here is a small old post about it: https://wordpress.com/post/kamakawida.com/2858. The issue I am having however is finding the BPM (Beats Per Minute) of certain songs. So I did some research and realized quickly that there are not many free tools that work well.
Until I found this super simple website (https://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm) where you tap your “space bar” key in the rhythm to the song. It will then give you the BPM of that song. The only thing it requires is some ability to tap to a rhythm. I would suggest you practice a few time with songs you already know the BPM to so that you can understand the reaction time of you “Space bar”. Voila! Super easy, free and accurate.
