It is funny however that still up to this day and age a song like this is still very current in reflecting deep rooted social problems experienced in many parts of the world. We may think we as a species have “evolved” past racial discrimination but in truth we haven’t. True evolution requires true change, not change that sits as a facade for a system that is inherently oppressive.
